Wireline core drilling are primarily used in deep coring. With an overshot device, they eliminate the need to couple and uncouple the rod string each time the core is retrieved. Because of this core drilling method don't need pull out the drill rods, so it saved more about 30 % - 40% time for lifting core barrel.
The adaptor coupling inner diameter is bigger, and locking coupling inner diameter is smaller, so it can avoid the inner tube assembly push up in the drilling, to play a rule of positioning.
Our locking coupling & adaptor coupling special designed of chrome plated, and the locking coupling have the tungsten carbide (T.C.) inserts outside around protect, it have longer use life than others.
